Getting started
The front page is open to everyone. To see the cattle for sale you create a free account in under a minute. Registering opens the full site: view every lot, make offers, post what you are after in Market Maker, and use Market Pulse to see what cattle are making before you buy or sell.
Buying
Yes. A lot is whatever the seller puts together, and plenty are five or six head. Post what you are after in Market Maker and sellers with the right few come to you.
Selling
The stock stays in your yard. Funds go on account before anything moves, and the lot only clears for movement once the full amount has landed. If a buyer misses the window, the lot is yours to relist in a tap.
Trust and safety
Raise an issue from the deal the moment you know. Farm Fayre reviews it with both sides and with the haulier. Every haulier on the platform carries full livestock haulage insurance as a condition of working with us.
After the trade
Yes. After a trade you rate the other party, and privately you can tell Farm Fayre how we could serve you better. Good reviews help the best farmers get more trade.
